Travel grants
EAERE makes available a limited number of travel grants of EUR 1.500 each for the participation in the Conference. EAERE is grateful to Springer for the financial support received for two travel grants.
Paper presenters in both oral or poster sessions are eligible for EAERE travel grants, but priority will be given to presenters at contributed sessions all else equal. In addition, travel grants will be assigned according to the following priority criteria:
Priority 1. Application category 1
PhD students or researchers who completed their PhD in the previous 2 years, who are residents in low income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle income economies in accordance to the definition provided by the World Bank.
Priority 2. Application category 2
Researchers who resid in low income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle income economies in accordance to the definition provided by the World Bank, who have no other source of funding for the conference.
Priority 3. Application category 3
PhD students or researchers who resid in industrialized countries who completed their PhD in the previous 2 years and have no other source of funding for the conference.
Grants are handled by the EAERE Secretariat. The grant amount is used to cover the Conference registration fee prior to the Conference; the residual is remitted through bank transfer to the grantee after the end of the Conference.
EAERE provides a complimentary membership to each grantee.
No age restriction is imposed. Grant allocation is conditional on visa obtainment.
Deadline for submissions: January 31th, 2017
Notifications of grants acceptance will be sent out by end March 2017 by the EAERE Secretariat.
