Call for Thematic Sessions
Deadline for submissions: January 31, 2022
Proposals are now invited for pre-organised thematic sessions at EAERE 2022, to be organised either entirely onsite or entirely online.
THEMATIC SESSIONS aim to highlight current research on a subject in environmental and resource economics. Thematic sessions will consist of three to four papers connected by a unifying theme. The individual contributions are expected to be of very high quality, both with respect to the scientific content of the paper and the presentation. The Programme Committee will select a limited number of proposed Thematic Sessions based on scientific quality and originality. The proposed papers for these sessions will undergo the normal refereeing process; only papers that are approved will be included in the programme. Onsite thematic sessions will run in the same way as regular parallel sessions, with in-person presentations only. Online thematic sessions will be fully virtual and will take place from 2pm to 3.45pm CET or from 9 to 10.45am CET.
To propose a Thematic Session:
-
Submit all papers to be included via the conference website (will be opened November 15, 2021; choose session type: Thematic Session). The papers will go through the regular review process.
-
Send an email with “Thematic Session” in the subject line to programme-eaere2022@unibo.it. Indicate whether the proposed thematic session would be organized onsite or online.
In your email, include the following information:
-
Name(s) of the Thematic Session's organiser(s)
-
Proposed title of the Thematic Session
-
A short description of the theme and an explanation how the papers are connected and how they jointly relate to the theme.
-
Title, author names, and a 100-word abstract for EACH of the papers included in the session (make sure that paper titles and authors are consistent with the website submissions)
RULES for THEMATIC SESSIONS:

There will be reduced fees for entirely virtual conference attendance. In-person registration fees will also cover access to virtual content.
-
All nominated participants of Thematic Sessions are to be registered by May 15, 2022.
-
If a Thematic Session proposed to be organised onsite is not approved, any accepted papers will be included in the Parallel Sessions.
-

-
Notification of the decision by the Programme Committee is scheduled for March 31, 2022.
