EAERE makes available a limited number of grants for participation in EAERE 2022.
Paper presenters are eligible for EAERE participation grants.
Grants are handled by the EAERE Secretariat. The grant amount is used to cover the Conference registration fee prior to the Conference; the residual is remitted through bank transfer to the grantee after the end of the Conference. EAERE provides a complimentary membership to each grantee. No age restriction is imposed. Grant allocation is conditional on visa obtainment.
Participation grants of EUR 1.000 each will be assigned to residents in low income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle-income economies in accordance to the definition provided by the World Bank; participation grants of EUR 500 each will be assigned to residents in Europe.
Participation grants will be assigned to the presenters of the best papers according to the following priority criteria:
- Priority 1: Application category 1. PhD students or researchers who completed their PhD in the previous 2 years.
- Priority 2: Application category 2. Researchers who have no other source of funding for the conference.
Moreover, a general criteria of gender equilibrium will be applied in the assignment process.
Deadline for submissions: January 31th, 2022
Notifications of grants acceptance will be sent out by end March 2022 by the EAERE Secretariat.

Please note:
1) The paper ID number received by email from submission website (Anymeets) once you have successfully submit a paper is mandatory.
2) Students are kindly requested to upload a note from their department on letterhead, a copy of their Student ID Card valid for year 2022 or the URL of the webpage run within the official website of their department in which they are mentioned as students.
2) Researchers who completed their PhD in the previous 2 years are kindly requested to upload a document certifying they have obtained the PhD and in which date. A document on letterhead from the University is fine, if the certificate/award is not available.
Incomplete applications will not be taken into account.
