Francisco J. André, Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM)
Francisco J. André is a Full Professor in the Department of Economic Analysis at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), where he carries out his teaching and research activities and currently serves as Head of Department. His research focuses primarily on Environmental and Resource Economics, Microeconomics, and Industrial Organization, with particular emphasis on the economics of climate change, energy and environmental markets, the circular economy, water resource management, and the design and evaluation of public policies. He is the author or co-author of around 50 scientific articles, published mainly in international indexed journals, as well as a book and several book chapters, and has extensive experience in national and international research projects, including several European and Spanish State Research Plan projects. He has been a visiting researcher at several foreign universities and has held various academic management positions. He has been awarded four six-year periods of recognized research activity (sexenios) an, among other distinctions, has received twice the AERNA Award for the best publication in the field of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics.
Carmen Arguedas holds a PhD in Economics from Carlos III University. She is Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economic Analysis at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Council Member of EAERE, Co-Editor of Resource and Energy Economics and Past President of AERNA. Her research focuses on incentives and information problems related to the design and implementation of environmental policies, the modelling of voluntary sustainable practices and collaborative consumption. More recently, she has been involved in circular economy issues, with a particular focus on the economic and environmental consequences of second-hand markets in their various forms.
Mireille Chiroleu-Assouline is Professor of Economics at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Chair Professor at the Paris School of Economics, and a senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. Her research covers environmental policy instruments, environmental tax reform and its distributional effects, corporate social responsibility, and the political economy of lobbying in the European energy transition. She has published in journals such as the European Economic Review, the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and Resource and Energy Economics. A former member of the EAERE Council (2015–2019), she is Co-Editor of Environmental and Resource Economics and past President of the FAERE.
Andreas Lange holds a position as Full Professor of Economics at University of Hamburg. Before, he had an appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland. Andreas received his PhD from the Department of Economics, University of Heidelberg. He currently serves as Co-Editor-in Chief for Journal of Environmental Economics and Management. His research includes theoretical, experimental and applied work on issues in public and environmental economics as well as in behavioral economics. For example, he conducted studies on international environmental agreements, on emissions trading systems, and on policy decisions under risk and uncertainty. Much of his current research focusses on prosocial preferences and the voluntary provision of public goods.
